Firewood Delivery Areas & Fees

Limpopo Hardwood delivers braai firewood, charcoal and firelighters to 99 areas across Cape Town
and the Western Cape — from Milnerton, Table View and Blouberg to the Southern Suburbs, the City Bowl, the West
Coast, the Boland and the Overberg. Every area and its delivery fee is listed below, so you know the cost before
you order.

How delivery fees work

Each area has a standard delivery fee. What you actually pay depends on how heavy the order is:

Orders of 10 kg or less pay half the standard fee.
Orders over 10 kg, up to 3 300 kg pay the standard fee — that covers
everything from a 12 kg bag to a 1 000-piece bulk load.
Loads over 3 300 kg pay double the standard fee.

For example, in Table View a single 7 kg bag costs R48 to deliver, a 25 kg bag costs R96, and so does a
bulk load of 1 000 pieces of Swarthaak. You choose your area at checkout and the exact fee is added there.

Don’t see your area?

We add areas as we go. Call 084 050 4286 or send us a message
with your suburb and what you’d like to order, and we will tell you whether we can get there and what it costs.

What to order

Braai firewood — Sekelbos, Rooibos, Soetdoring, Swarthaak, Bluegum
and Redgum, from 7 kg bags to 25 kg.
Bulk pieces — 500 and 1 000 piece loads
for households that braai often, restaurants and shops.
Kindling,
firelighters and
charcoal — add them to the same delivery.

Common questions

Is the delivery fee per bag?

No. It is one fee for the order, set by your area and the total weight — ordering three bags instead of one does
not triple it.

Do you deliver outside Cape Town?

Yes — up the West Coast to Langebaan, Paternoster and St Helena Bay, into the Boland as far as Worcester and
Ceres, and along the Overberg coast to Hermanus and Gansbaai. Those fees are in the tables above.

Which firewood should I order?

Our guide to the best wood for a braai explains
the differences, and how ordering works covers bag sizes and
prices.

Fees as at September 2026. The fee shown at checkout is the one that applies.
